Which Methodology?

I have been in the ministry for over 30 years yet I still have a lot to learn about leading an efective church. There are many experts out there promoting the "right" way to grow a church. As I studied the Bible it seems there are many ways to correctly serve the Lord. A pastor needs to seek the Lord as which methodology is right for him. For John the Baptist the right way was to stay in one location and invite people to come to him. Jesus did the opposite and took the minsitry to the people going town to town. Which is the correct way? Should the church go to where the people are as Jesus did or invite them to come to church like John the Baptist? For me both methods of ministry are correct. I pray that Friendship Church will both invite people to come to us and go out of the church to minister to people where they live. We must follow both methods of ministry to be effective.
